Patriots Release Joint Statement On Reported Rift Between Belichick, Brady & Kraft

The New England Patriots dynasty is beginning to unravel, if you believe a report from ESPN.com that released in the early hours of the morning on Friday.
ESPN’s Seth Wickersham claims that growing tensions between head coach Bill Belichick, team owner Robert Kraft and quarterback Tom Brady are reaching a boiling point and that the Patriots empire could come crashing down as a result of the clash of egos.
It’s an intriguing piece that provides in-depth insight on the potential rift between the trio of powerful figures within the organization, but the Patriots don’t want you buying it.
Shortly after the story broke, Belichick, Kraft and Brady came together to release a joint statement on the report.

“For the past 18 years, the three of us have enjoyed a very good and productive working relationship. In recent days, there have been multiple media reports that have speculated theories that are unsubstantiated, highly exaggerated or flat out inaccurate. The three of us share a common goal. We look forward to the enormous challenge of competing in the postseason and the opportunity to work together in the future, just as we have for the past 18 years. It is unfortunate that there is even a need for us to respond to these fallacies. As our actions have shown, we stand united.”

The Patriots are currently on a bye week as the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs and will wait to learn their opponent for the Divisional Round of the postseason as it all plays out over the next two days on Wild Card weekend.
