Courtney Roland: Full Story & Must-See Details Of Missing Sports Reporter


UPDATE: Courtney Roland was found in the Houston Galleria area on Monday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.


“After seeing Ms. Roland’s case in the news this morning, a passerby called us about 8:15 a.m., stating Ms. Roland was under an overpass at the 610 West Loop at Richmond. Our officers arrived, confirmed it was her and arranged she be checked at an area hospital,” the Houston Police Department tweeted.


Courtney Roland, a sport reporter who covers the Texas A&M football program, was reported missing on Saturday after covering the Texas Team Elite football camp in Houston.
The 29 year old was last seen on Sunday, according to investigators.
According to multiple reports on social media, Roland’s roommate received a text message that stated Roland feared she was being followed by a suspicious man in a blue truck. That was the last contact between Roland and her roommate.
According to Roland’s mother, she also received a suspicious text on Sunday which read, “hello the owner of this phone Courtney. I am buying an iPad.”
Roland was driving her silver Jeep Cherokee.

On Monday, Roland’s car was located along with her phone and purse with all her belongings at the Houston Galleria.
Anyone with information that could lead to locating Roland is asked to call the Houston Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit. The Houston PD also provided the following information on social media.

Roland, who graduated from Texas A&M in 2010, was last seen wearing a camouflage fleece sweater and an orange hat.
