Kendrick Lamar took the field on Monday night as the inaugural halftime performer for the College Football Playoff Championship Game.
The Grammy Award-winning hip hop star, who had an incredible 2017 thanks to the release of his album “DAMN”, kicked off 2018 on a high note outside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The performance was a free, non-ticketed event at Centennial Olympic Park, just outside the stadium,with a number of fans showing up for the event.
As you may have predicted, the halftime performance kicked off with a live rendition of his hit song “DNA,” which he followed up with a performance of “Element” and “Humble.” Lamar capped off the halftime performance with “All The Stars.”
