Super Bowl Betting Odds 2018: Eagles-Patriots Opening Line Released

The 2018 Super Bowl matchup was set on Sunday with the New England Patriots claiming the AFC Championship and the Philadelphia Eagles winning big to win the NFC. Both teams entered the postseason as the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences.
Now, the two teams are set to meet in Super Bowl 52 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
While there are still weeks until the big game, oddsmakers in Las Vegas are ready for some early action and released the opening line for Super Bowl 52 just hours after the matchup was set.
According to the Las Vegas SuperBook, Tom Brady and the Patriots will be favored to win the latest Super Bowl in franchise history. However, they are favored by less than one touchdown and the Eagles are no strangers to being underdogs after winning the past two games as home dogs.
The line is set at New England -5.5, while the over under is at 47.5.
The two teams previously met in the Super Bowl back in 2005, when the Patriots dynasty was at its peak and Tom Brady led the team to its third Super Bowl title in four years, beating Philadelphia 24-21.
This time around, the Eagles will be looking for redemption as they continue their search for the first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.
Kickoff for Super Bowl 52 is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
