It’s been a wild college basketball season which continued this weekend, but the No. 1 team in the nation remains the same in the AP Top 25 poll for Week 13.
On Monday, the updated poll was released with the Villanova Wildcats holding the top spot for the fourth week in a row. Villanova received 47 first-place votes from the pollsters.
No. 2 Virginia held firm behind the Wildcats, but is closing the gap after picking up some first-place votes. No. 3 Purdue also received a first-place vote, while Duke remains at No. 4. Michigan State rounds out the top five after moving up one spot from No. 6 a week ago.
Returning to the top 25 this week was the Kentucky Wildcats, jumping back in at No. 21.
