Ryan Shazier has continued to show incredible improvement in his recovery from a serious spinal injury and on Tuesday night he brought us another special moment.
The Pittsburgh Steelers was in attendance for a game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Las Vegas Golden Knights when he was show to the crowd at PPG Paints Arena.
Shazier received a thunderous applause and standing ovation from the crowd, before he got to his feet to address the crowd.
It was great to see Shazier continue to carry a smile on his face while standing after being discharged from UPMC on Thursday to begin outpatient therapy.
Check out video of the moment below:

Is someone cutting onions?
Shazier underwent spine stabilization surgery in December and through his strength and determination has been able to defy odds and show his remarkable progress. Of course, there is still a long way for Shazier to go in his recovering, but his positive attitude and determination has helped so far and he is showing no signs of slowing down.
