Copeland commented on the viral moment with a brief post on social media.
“What my mama did today was hilarious,” he wrote on Twitter. “If you knew her personally that’s her job. PUT ON A SHOW!”

Regardless of what really went down, it’s great to see that there is no ill-will between mother and son. In fact, after she walked away from his press conference, most people did not see that she eventually returned to give her son a big hug and sign his National Letter of Intent.
