WATCH: Ohio State, Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Teams Brawl During Game

It seems like there is no love lost between the Ohio State and Johns Hopkins lacrosse teams. During a game on Thursday night between the two top three teams, a Blue Jays player went down on the sideline with an injury. That is when all hell broke loose as a bench-clearing brawl ensued on the field.
The brawl broke out in the fourth quarter after a Johns Hopkins and Ohio State player appeared to get mixed up on the sidelines. The Blue Jays player remained down as his teammates attended to him before the chaos took place.
Check out the fight below:

A full video of the madness shows that the brawl started after Johns Hopkins goalie Brock Turnbaugh blocked a shot and began looking to create a counterattack. That’s when he took a big hit from a Buckeyes player and went down to the ground. Turnbaugh was checked in the back as he was sprinting at full speed.

The fight appeared to give Johns Hopkins some motivation, as they rallied to earn the 6-5 win in the Big Ten men’s lacrosse semifinal game with the game-winner coming with just over ten seconds remaining in the game. Who knows, maybe we have a new rivalry budding in the college lacrosse world.
