Tyler Fromm, the brother of Georgia football star Jake Fromm, made his college commitment over the weekend. While it is always great to see siblings playing together in college, Tyler Fromm decided to forge his own path in the SEC and ultimately decided to choose the Bulldogs’ rival, Auburn.
Fromm, a three-star recruit from Warner Robins, Georgia, is a top 25 tight end in the Class of 2019.
Fromm chose the Tigers over offers from schools like LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, and USC.
“I have officially committed to Auburn University. Ready to get this class going and War Eagle,” Fromm said in a message on social media announcing his commitment.

Fromm sees an immediate role in the Auburn office as soon as he lands on campus.
“They want me to get in as early as I can just to build the recruiting class up,” Fromm said, via 247 Sports. “They just need a few more guys to throw to. They need a guy at tight end to flex out and throw to — and bring him in. I guess they just don’t have that right now.”
Fromm will now be preparing for his senior year of high school, while Auburn is preparing for its 2018 season-opener against the Washington Huskies.
