Oklahoma Football Uniforms: Sooners Unveil New Jordan Look

Late last year, it was announced that the Oklahoma football program and all Sooners athletic programs would be joining forces with the Jordan Brand in an apparel deal. The Sooners began the third college program to partner with the brand, joining North Carolina and Michigan.
On Monday, July 9, the Sooners finally unveiled their new updated look.
Oklahoma’s football program took to social media to unveil the new uniforms which keep the team’s traditional look while adding the Jordan Brand logo and a few minor tweaks.

“It will be great to see where we all evolve from this,” Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley told CBS Sports following the initial announcement about the partnership. “We’ll be at the forefront of making sure our players have the best, trying new things, new ideas, and leading the charge as far as that race. I think it’s the start of something special and it’s going to be a great journey together.”

The uniforms will feature the traditional red and white uniform combinations, while also bringing back the fan-favorite alternate looks that include a white helmet. Kevin McGuire of NBC Sports’ College Football Talk shared photos of the new uniforms on Twitter.

Oklahoma kicks off its 2018 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 1 against Lane Kiffin’s FAU Owls.
