It’s Woman Crush Wednesday, which means it’s time to take a look at the college world and appreciate some of the standout students and/or athletes across the nation. Every week, we feature a college student that stands out among their peers. This week, we feature Kianje Pollard, a member of the track and field team at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pollard is having a great 2018, placing in the top 10 at the USC Open, NCAT Aggie Invitational, and Appalachian Open Indoor Track Meet. She also earned two first-place finishes at the CIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship, one at the Johnson C. Smith University Invitational, and two first-place nods, three second-place finishes, and third at the CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championship.
