It’s Saturday, Aug. 25, college football is back and the weekend is in full swing! College life can be busy, so at times it can be tough to keep up with the daily news cycle. That’s why we bring you Campus Connect, where you can catch the latest news in college sports and entertainment to keep on top of the buzz that everyone on campus will be talking about.

College Sports News
Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer was suspended for three games to start the 2018 season for his mishandling of the domestic abuse allegations surrounding former wide receivers coach Zach Smith. Meyer issued a statement regarding the suspension shortly after the news surfaced, but it was not well-received. Now, he is changing his tune.
The Indiana football program has suspended a key member of the offense ahead of the start of the 2018 season. On Friday, Aug. 24, the Hoosiers announced that starting running back Morgan Ellison has been suspended from all football activities indefinitely. The release, however, did not give any specific details on why the running back was suspended.
