Two members of the FIU football program — running back Anthony Jones and offensive lineman Mershawn Miller — have been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital after suffering non-life-threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting, according to reports.
Burt Reynolds passed away at age 82 on Thursday, Sept. 6. During his college days, Reynolds was the roommate and teammate of Lee Corso, the popular ESPN College GameDay host. Following his death, an image of Reynolds and Corso from their college football days began making the rounds on social media.

Burt Reynolds has died in Florida at the age of 82-year-old. Reynolds, one of the biggest American movie stars in history, starred in films such as Deliverance, The Longest Yard, Smokey and the Bandit, Boogie Nights and more. For his performance in Boogie Nights, Reynolds was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Burt Reynolds, one of America’s favorite actor has left us at the age of 82 due to a heart attack. His death has been confirmed by TMZ.
