What were you doing when you were 17 years old? Well, chances are you weren’t even close to accomplishing what Sam Morgan has been able to do during his short time in the world. The 17-year-old college student has become known as the go-to supplier for a number of star athletes in the soccer world. From Paul Pogba to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, if an athlete needs some designer clothes then Morgan is your guy.
Morgan uses a network of friends to help source stock highly-sought after clothes, even giving him special deals. From there, he resells the gear to professional athletes or manages to find them whatever articles they are looking from.
According to the Daily Mail, it all started when Morgan began selling clothes to Arsenal player Cohen Bramall. Bramall began introducing him to other players before he found himself linked up with Tottenham defender Kyle Walker-Peters. It snowballed from there with Dele Alli, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, who he met after playing Fortnite with him, England’s Kyle Walker, France star Paul Pogba, and the list goes on and on.
In fact, he helped France celebrate their World Cup win with Gucci jackets and glasses.
“Two days before the World Cup final I got a FaceTime from Paul Pogba, who I’d never spoken to before, who was on Benjamin Mendy’s phone, and he was just saying: ‘Are you the plug?’ He said: ‘You’re the one that Benjy’s been telling me about. I’ve been trying to connect with you for a long time.’ I was sitting there thinking ‘I’m the one who should be trying to connect to you not you connecting to me.’Two days after the World Cup final I got the Eurostar to Paris, we had multiple Gucci jackets, multiple vintage glasses, so I got off the train straight to the team hotel where everyone had stayed the night before because they were with the president,” Morgan explained.
“I just rocked up there, and delivered everything to Paul and just chilled.”
Not too bad for the life of a 17-year-old.
As he continues to connect and network with the top athletes in the soccer world, it will be interesting to see if he ventures out into other sports. Who knows, maybe one day we will see Sam Morgan helping some of the top American stars in the NBA and NFL clean up their looks.
