LOOK: Utah Football Honors Native American Ute Tribe With ‘Utah Pride’ Uniforms

The Utah football program is set to pay tribute to the Ute tribe with their special “Utah Pride” uniforms that will feature¬†Native American tribal patterns on an incredible white helmet. The rest of the uniform will be the Utes’ standard all-red look.

Utah will wear the uniforms on Friday, Oct. 12 against the Arizona Wildcats.

UTAH HAS RELEASED THEIR LOOK FOR WEEK 7. THE UTES WILL COME OUT IN THEIR RED ON RED JERSEY AND PANTS COMBINATION. FOR THE UTES PROUD GAME THE TEAM WILL WEAR SPECIAL WHITE HELMETS THAT FEATURE NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBAL PATTERNS. THE UTAH FOOTBALL TEAM WILL PAY TRIBUTE TO THE UTE INDIAN TRIBE WITH THESE SPECIAL HELMETS.

Kickoff between the Utes and Wildcats at Rice-Eccles Stadium is set for 10:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
