WATCH: Alabama's Raekwon Davis Punches Mizzou Player; Issues Apology

Alabama star defensive lineman Raekwon Davis let emotions get the best of him during Saturday’s blowout win over the Missouri Tigers. In the fourth quarter, Davis tied up with Missouri offensive lineman Kevin Pendleton when the two went to the ground.
Davis received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the play, and a video replay showed the Crimson Tide standout throwing multiple punches that landed on Pendleton.
Shockingly, Davis was not ejected from the game.

Immediately following the game, Davis took to social media to issue an apology for his actions on the field. You have to imagine head coach Nick Saban was not to pleased to see what one of his top defenders was caught doing.
“I would like to apologize to Kevin Pendleton, the Missouri Tigers, their fans, Alabama Fans, and my teammates and coaches for my actions during tonight’s game,” Davis wrote on Twitter. “I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and that’s unacceptable. Again I’m sorry and it will never happen again.”

We will have to see if the NCAA or SEC decide to issue further punishment to Davis for throwing the punches on the field.
