College Sports News
The start of the 2018-19 college basketball season is just around the corner so the rankings have been pouring out and it’s time to see how the teams could fall into place as the new year place out. Ahead of the season tip-off, a group of coaches did just that by releasing the USA TODAY Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll on Thursday, October 26.
The UCF football program has unveiled its 2018 edition of the Nike uniforms for their “Space Game” on Thursday, November 1 against the Temple Owls. This year’s edition of the “Space Game” uniforms include a special Citronaut logo, which is a combination of a citrus fruit and an astronaut which was previously an unofficial mascot for the school.
The Utah football program will be honoring Lauren McCluskey, a track and field student-athlete at the university who was murdered earlier this week on Monday, October 22. The Utes will pay tribute to McCluskey’s life with a special helmet decal for this week’s game against the UCLA Bruins in Pasadena.

On Thanksgiving weekend, golf stars Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will have their highly-anticipated head-to-head round of golf in Las Vegas. The showdown between the longtime rivals will take place live on pay-per-view on Friday, November 24. The prize pool is a whopping $9 million with the winner of the round taking the entire purse. Here is how much it will cost to view.
Ty Dolla Sign and Jeremih have been teasing their upcoming collaboration, titled “MihTy,” for the past few months with the release of singles like “The Light” and “Going Thru Some Thangz.” However, Friday, October 26, the collaborative album is finally set to drop. The project will be available to stream online thanks to streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify.
