Heisman Betting Odds: Who's Favored Heading Into Week 9?

Despite a crazy Week 8 in college football, which included both No. 12 Oregon and No. 2 Ohio State suffering losses to unranked opponents, the race for the Heisman Trophy still looks the same.
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa continued to dominate as the Crimson Tide rolled over Tennessee, 58-21, behind Tagovailoa’s 306 passing yards and four touchdowns. The sophomore quarterback has distanced himself so much from the pack, he enters Week 9 with -250 odds to take home the Heisman according to Bovada’s latest odds.
Not too far behind, however, remains Oklahoma signal-caller Kyler Murray, who turned in another big performance in a 52-27 route of TCU. Murray threw for over 200 yards and four touchdowns while adding another 50 yards rushing. The multi-sport star enters this week with +350 odds to win the Heisman and appears to be the only person close enough to catch Tua.
Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins and Michigan’s Shea Patterson enter the week both tied at +1200 odds, and Trace McSorley rounds out the top five not far behind at +1400. While this is looking more like a two-man race, there is still plenty of football left to be plaid so be sure to keep checking in with us for an updated list of this years Heisman favorites.
