When the Ohio State football program returns to action on Saturday, November 3 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the No. 11 Buckeyes will be returning their all-black uniforms to the field. Ohio State took to social media to show off the all-black look that they will sport as they look to bounce back from a stunning upset loss to the unranked Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday, October 20.
Ohio State’s uniforms feature a black jersey, black pants, and a black helmet. The Buckeye helmet decals and numbers bring a pop of red to the uniform, while the cleats will be the latest edition of collabs between the Buckeyes and LeBron James’ signature shoe.
The decision to wear all-black against Nebraska — which has a defense nicknamed the “Blackshirts” — was announced on Twitter with an impressive hype video.
Ohio State first wore black jerseys against Penn State in 2015.
