NBA Draft Lottery 2019: The Race For Zion Williamson Begins

With the college basketball season forclosing the race for Zion Williamson begins. Williamson is undoubtedly the front runner to be the No. 1 overall pick and any team would be lucky to have him.
Now the question is which team will have the opportunity to choose Williamson? The NBA has attempted to prevent teams from tanking and have restructured the lottery system. The teams with the three worst records will all have an equal chance at the No. 1 pick. Each one of these teams will have a 14 percent chance to land the top pick and the rights to pick Williamson. However, other teams as well will have a chance to obtain the top pick.

It’s also been noted that only the first four picks in the NBA draft will be determined by the lottery. After that picks will be distributed to the teams with the worst record. So, teams with the worst records will not fall past the fifth pick.
Here is a list of teams that have a chance to win the top pick.
Knicks: 14 percent chance
Suns: 14 percent chance
Cavaliers: 14 percent chance
Bulls: 12.5 percent chance
Hawks: 10.5 percent chance
