College News
Micalla Rettinger, a former softball player at the University of Northern Iowa, was shot and killed while driving home from work in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, April 28. As the 25-year-old Rettinger was driving home from work with two passengers, a bullet went through the driver’s window and struck her in the neck, according to CNN.com.
Matthew Boling is not human. The 18-year-old sprinter from Strake Jesuit in Houston, Texas blew away the competition at the Class 6A Region III track and field meet over the weekend. Boling competed in the 100-meter dash and set an all-time high school record with a blistering time of 9.98 seconds.

Today, we feature Danika Tramburg, a former student at Concordia University Wisconsin. Danika graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Entertainment Business. She is the reigning Miss Wisconsin USA.

Triple Crown season is finally here, with the 2019 Kentucky Derby set to take place at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 4. The draw took place on Tuesday, April 30, with early betting favorite Omaha Beach getting the No. 12 post position.
A man who goes by Donta Tha Gift Taylor is claiming to be the father of rapper YNW Melly, who is behind doors in Florida and facing the death penalty for the alleged murder of his two close friends. Taylor is paying tribute to YNW Melly with a remix of his smash hit “Murder on my Mind” titled “Melly on my Mind.”
