The Wisconsin Badgers have been one of the more consistent programs in the NCAA the last few years. They proved that this season when they maintained a pretty big streak on Sunday.
The Badgers were selected to their 14th straight NCAA Tournament on Sunday, landing a No. 7 seed in the Big Dance. This moves their current lead in a cool streak up in both football and basketball.
Wisconsin currently has the NCAA’s longest streak for most consecutive bowl game and NCAA Tournament appearances, a record they set in 2015 with their selection to March Madness. They celebrated that on Instagram on Tuesday.

Former head basketball coach Bo Ryan, who retired midseason, led the Badgers to the first 13 appearances, which included two Final Fours and a spot in the title game last year. In those 14 bowl games, Wisconsin has posted a 6-8 record with three consecutive Rose Bowls from 2010-2012.
This is pretty impressive. The Badgers will face off against the Pittsburgh Panthers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 18 at 6:50 p.m. on TNT.
