Ohio State is currently holding spring practices, but kicked the presentation of such into high gear last week with something called “Winner-Loser Day.”
Basically, in videos posted to Instagram, the players were subjected to red carpet treatment early in the morning and some early morning trivia. Get the question right, you’re a winner and can have a red carpet interview. Lose, and you have to hit the obstacle course.

I will say this much. The Buckeyes are a patient bunch, even as one player in particular makes it clear with his body language that it’s way too early for shenanigans at such a high energy level.
Still, it just shows how much coach Urban Meyer wants everyone from the players to the staff as mentally sharp as possible, regardless of time of day.
The good news is that most players appear to have enjoyed the experience, so perhaps this isn’t the first time Ohio State will have activities like this.
