It’s always great when college football players get to experience history in some way, be it on the playing field or just in general, and the Wisconsin Badgers’ players are doing just that today. Per a tweet from the football program, the Badgers are practicing at Lambeau Field today.
Yep, the #Badgers are at Lambeau Field today. "I think it's the Holy Grail of football." #Packers https://t.co/kjgDA8jy3z

The youngster who called the stadium “the Holy Grail of football” is linebacker Alec Ingold, who was born and raised in Green Bay, but the rest of his teammates should appreciate the trip as well. After all, this is the same stadium where legends like Brett Favre, Bart Starr and many others made their bones as NFL stars.
On top of that, Lambeau Field was the sight of the 1967 NFL Championship Game, known as “The Ice Bowl” due to the freezing conditions. It’s definitely one of the NFL’s stadium Meccas, simply because of all the history that exists within its walls.
Hopefully, the Badgers will use this trip so that they can create some history of their own in 2016.
