One of the most important positions in basketball, especially in the NBA, is small forward. This is the spot at which guys like LeBron James and Kevin Durant made their bones and, of course, small forwards come in various forms.
Some men who man the 3 are just pure three-point specialists. Others are amazing playmakers, known as point forwards, and others are just excellent scorers who can take full control of a game and put their team on their back en route to victory.
And ranking the small forwards in this year’s NBA Draft class is a bit tricky, as the position is a tad thin this year. Only a few select individuals stand out, but the 3’s that are available are players who have proven able to go above and beyond the call of duty from the opening tip until the final buzzer.
Needless to say, whichever teams land these select five could wind up striking gold.
