Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs and his teammates had their spring game yesterday, plus a meet-and-greet with fans after the fact, and Dobbs himself was quite popular with the Vols faithful.
In fact, Dobbs was so popular that one young fan didn’t get a chance to meet him, and a woman tweeted Dobbs a video of the child crying about it. Sure enough, Dobbs responded quickly.
I'm sorry. Going to have to make that up! https://t.co/dVRvP2Wi64

Sure enough, Dobbs came through and tracked down the little boy’s family and then posted the following piece of heart-melting photography to his Twitter.
It's okay guys! I found the lil guy and met him! pic.twitter.com/ausPDBcwHO

This was an excellent gesture on Dobbs’ part, as fan outreach is a big part of college athletics. Just how much Dobbs does over the remainder of his football career remains to be seen, but one thing is certain. In the mind of one young fan, he’ll always hold a premier spot for what would seem by many to be the smallest reason.
