Earlier this morning, Georgia cornerback Juwuan Briscoe was arrested on traffic charges because he did not have his license on him at the time of the stop. It doesn’t look like former linebacker and Briscoe’s teammate Jake Ganus appreciated the extra measures the police took.
Ganus took to Twitter and openly criticized the campus police department for the arrest. Before he could promptly delete the tweet, Saturday Down South captured a screenshot and it has gotten spread around since.

You can understand Ganus’s frustration as this was the fifth player arrest since Kirby Smart took over for Mark Richt in January. However, it is still not a good thing to call out the police for doing their job.
If Briscoe was only arrested because he forgot his license at home, then Jake Ganus’s criticism might be validated. However, until we know the full story of what happened during the stop, it is probably better to stay mum about the whole thing, especially when Ganus is trying to find a job in the NFL.
The Bulldogs have yet to release a statement on the arrest, so it is probably best for other Bulldogs, past, present, or future, to keep their opinions to themselves.
