Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd was one of the biggest surprises in the SEC last season and he is looking to be a big part of their success this year. He proved on Tuesday that if he gets out in open space, he is going to be hard to catch down the field.
Hurd was training with one of the Tennessee coaches and decided to take to a treadmill. Usually, seeing someone sprint on a treadmill isn’t very impressive, but Hurd was running over 23 miles per hour.

If teams are going to have any chance of beating the Volunteers, who are favored to win the SEC East, it is going to have to start with shutting down Jalen Hurd.
After he went for nearly 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns last year, there is only one thing to say about teams’ chances… Good luck with that.
