Not only do the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys have a bitter in-state rivalry, they also seem to have a sibling rivalry as well. Cale Gundy is an assistant with the Sooners and is also the brother of Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy .
Cale decided to take to Twitter and take shots at the programs’ rivals.
However, he didn’t seem to take a direct shot at the Cowboys. In fact, the shot was likely directed towards the Texas Longhorns, with whom the Sooners have an even bigger rivalry, and it was on the topic of recruiting.
Piece of advice to recruits. It's real simple. Schools are winning championships or talking about winning championships. Do your homework.

On Wednesday, four-star offensive lineman Patrick Hudson became the fourth former Baylor Bear to commit to the Longhorns, joining lineman JP Urquidez and wide receivers Devin Duvernay and Donovan Duvernay. Also on Wednesday night, 2017 four-star center Creed Humphrey chose Texas A&M over the Sooners.
This may be sour grapes for Cale Gundy, but it is hard to ignore the fact that the Sooners did win the Big 12 championship last year, while neither Texas nor Texas A&M have won a conference championship in recent years.
