The Oklahoma Sooners will be losing a wide receiver who looked to be a big part of their future to transfer. It was reported that Dallis Todd, a former four-star signee, would be seeking a transfer and he confirmed those reports on his Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

Todd did not see much playing time during the 2015 season after he recorded just nine yards on one receptions in six games played. This came after he redshirted during his true freshman season in 2014.
There was no specific reason given for his transfer, but it likely has to do with him not being in the depth chart picture going into training camp. It was reported by 247Sports that Dallis Todd suffered a neck injury, which held him out of spring practices and would likely push him down the totem pole for playing time.
If he stays at the FBS level, Todd would have to sit out the 2016 season and have two years of eligibility left starting in 2017.
