If you are a fan of college football, you have undoubtedly spent some of your afternoons taking in ESPN’s “College Football Live.” Well, this season you better prepare for a new look and format.
On Thursday, ESPN issued a press release stating key contributors for the show would be making appearances from around the nation while the new look “will incorporate a new visual design featuring on-screen emphasis of the commentators rather than them positioned on a set.”
The new format will allow producers to shift the size of each commentator’s screen to allow room for highlights and other graphics while still displaying the ESPN personality.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 22, the show will air daily from 1:30-2:00 p.m.
Each Friday, Sam Ponder will be hosting the show live from the set of ESPN’s “College GameDay.” Throughout the week, Ponder, Molly McGrath and Chris Cotter will rotate hosting duties.
To provide further analysis and insight, the show will feature a rotating panel of college football experts and personalities including Paul Finebaum, Joey Galloway, Desmond Howard and David Pollack.
