On Monday, the NCAA announced they will be pulling all basketball tournament games, including to March Madness games, out of the state of North Carolina due to House Bill 2, which was passed earlier this year.
However, it doesn’t look like the sport of football will be affected by the law.
ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reported that it is doubtful that the NCAA actually decertifies the Belk Bowl, which is played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, due to the association not wanting to “make Power Five leagues mad.”
It’s doubtful NCAA decertifies Belk Bowl & won’t allow it played in NC because "doesn’t want to make Power 5 leagues mad” source told @ESPN

The Belk Bowl is usually played between the ACC and SEC, so it is unlikely that they actually cancel the bowl this year. However, there is a big chance the game could get moved out of North Carolina next year and then going forward.
It will be interesting to see how the NCAA handles this situation over the next few months.
