There have been some wild rumors swirling around the Tennessee football program since the Vols suffered their third straight loss on the season. Sunday night, some rumors even indicated running back Jalen Hurd walked out of a team meeting.
Now, on Monday morning, reports surfaced that Hurd will transfer.
Not only did the report state he will be switching schools to finish his collegiate career, it stated Hurd, who is listed at 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, could be looking to switch to wide receiver or tight end.

Hyams added Hurd “has been upset at the way he has been used in Tennessee’s zone-read scheme.”
After this report surfaced, another post backed up the claim, apparently from Hurd’s uncle.

In recent weeks before suffering a knee injury, Alvin Kamara was beginning to receive a bulk of the load. There is still no timetable for Kamara’s return and if Hurd does abruptly leave the team, the Vols take a devastating hit at running back.
We will keep you updated as more information surfaces, but it certainly appears like we will be in for another wild week in Knoxville.
