There was some extra-curricular activity in Oklahoma prior to kickoff. Both Oklahoma and Baylor start to do some shoving as the officiating crew did what the could to keep them separated.

Baylor is currently in the midst of a two-game losing streak. Perhaps tension and frustration are building? Oklahoma, meanwhile, has recovered nicely after getting off a 1-2 start this season.
Through the first quarter of the game, Oklahoma has a two touchdown lead over the Bears. Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield is off to the kind of start that has led their turnaround season; he has a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Meanwhile, Baylor continues to struggle against above average teams.
Their offense has struggled to move the ball and has only accounted for 80 total yards.
The criticism of Baylor after starting 6-0 was that they had not played any legitimate contenders, and that appears to have been fair criticism.
