As the 2016 college football season winds down, the Maxwell Football Club National Selection Committee has narrowed down its list of candidates for coach of the year.
On Friday, the 2016 George Munger Collegiate Coach of the Year Award semifinliasts were unveiled, including 16 of the top head coaches from across the nation. The Big Ten and Pac-12 led the way with four head coaches each on the list.

Voting for the award will begin on Friday, Nov. 18 and close on Sunday, Dec. 11. The top three votegetters will be named finalists for the award.
The winner will be announced on Dec. 29.
