LSU Lands Offensive Tackle Toby Weathersby

Les Miles and the LSU Tigers got off to a fast start on National Signing Day when four-star offensive tackle Toby Weathersby chose LSU over Arkansas.

Recruiting experts believed Weathersby would be apart of Arkansas’ 2015 class but after taking his official visit to Baton Rouge on Jan. 23, LSU moved out in front.

The Tigers are known for having a potent rushing attack year-in and year-out. To be successful rushing the football, you have to boast a solid offensive line.

Weathersby joins an already deep offensive line class for the Tigers. LSU has received commitments from five-star Maea Teuhema, four-star Chidi Valentine-Okeke, four-star George Brown, and three-star prospects Hanner Shipley and Adrian Magee.

With a stable of running backs at the Tigers’ disposal and a plethora of talented offensive linemen, LSU should continue to rely on their running game for years to come.
