It’s Friday the 13th as we approach the midway point in July. College life can be busy, so at times it can be tough to keep up with the daily news cycle. College Sports News
The Louisville football program is changing its stadium’s name. Amid the ongoing scandal with Papa John’s founder John Schnatter — which led to his resignation from the Louisville board of trustees and his company’s chairman — the Cardinals will no longer have the Papa John’s name plastered on the side of their stadium.
When Jeremy Pruitt leads the Vols football program for the first time, there will be a noticeable difference in the Tennessee uniforms. According to Chad Fields of VFL, a major change is coming to the Vols uniforms with an iconic trend being scraped away. Not only is Tennessee set to get rid of its Smokey grey alternate uniforms — rejoice, Vols fans! — they will reportedly get rid of the checkerboard stripes.
