Davin Bellamy was arrested 5 am Saturday morning for DUI and speeding and was released on $2,000 bond, according to Athens-Clark County police reports. As a redshirt freshman Bellamy was not listed in the starting lineup but was expected to contribute.
It is way to early to know about an impending suspension if any, but it has been a tough week for the Bulldogs defense; Jonathan Taylor got booted from this Bulldogs squad early in the week for a felony charge.
