After a whirlwind of events, four-star cornerback recruit Jamel Dean has found a new home. Dean, who was not cleared by the Ohio State training staff, announced Friday that he will begin his college career at the University of Auburn. Many close to Dean, including his high school coach, were noticeably upset with the Buckeyes handling of the situation and created quite the ruckus surrounding his departure.
Dean made the news official via Twitter earlier today:

The 6-foot-2, 200 lb defensive back has all the intangible skills to make him a premier cornerback in the SEC.
Dean will need each and every inch in order to stymy opposing wide outs and was ranked the No. 32 cornerback recruit in the nation by 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings.
Despite the commitment, Dean will need a waiver from the NCAA clearing him to begin playing for the Tigers.
This waiver remains a major obstacle for highly rated prospect and could prevent him from beginning his career on time.
