Three members of the LSU Tigers football team were arrested and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, according to a report from The Advocate.
LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings, who was expected to start this spring, was among the trio of arrested players. The other two athletes involved were defensive lineman Maquedius Bain and defensive back Dwayne Thomas.
According to the report, the three players were attempting to recover items that were stolen from Jennings’ apartment earlier this month.
It will be interesting to see how LSU deals with the legal issues surrounding the trio of players and whether Jennings will hang on to the starting job despite his involvement.
LSU opens up the season against McNeese State on September 5.
