The 2014-15 SEC Defensive Player of the Year is off the clock.
The Sacramento Kings selected Willie Cauley-Stein with the sixth pick in the NBA Draft, making him the second Kentucky player taken in the Lottery picks. This was a big man, and more importantly a defensive player, that the Kings truly needed.
Willie Cauley-Stein had the most defensive win shares (3.4) in D-I this season. He held opponents to 22% FG pct in isolation. #NBADraft

With Demarcus Cousins being the talk of trade rumors all day long, this pick all but confirms the rumors that he will be traded. If the Kings decide to keep Cousins, he and Cauley-Stein will be a nightmare in the low post in the Western Conference.
