The University of Kentucky will always be known as a basketball school. However, head football coach, Mark Stoops, is out to prove to Wildcat fans that both sports can be highly successful.
While you were prepping for your Independence day cookout, the Kentucky Wildcats picked up a big time recruit for the 2016 class. Kash Daniel, a hometown kid from Paintsville, KY, chose the Cats over Louisville and South Carolina.

Kash is a four star recruit who racked up a whopping 104 tackles in 2014. According to 247Sports team rankings, Kentucky was had the 18th ranked recruiting class, but will most likely earn a top 15 spot after this latest commitment.
Football fans in the Bluegrass State are used to seeing their best players leave the state to go play college football. If Mark Stoops can put a lock-down on the state of Kentucky from other schools swooping in, the Wildcats could start to make some noise in the SEC.
