Stephen Curry, Ayesha welcome their second child

What a summer for Stephen Curry and his family.

First, he’s named the NBA Most Valuable Player and wins his first NBA title. Then, in the midst of it all, his family becomes legitimate superstars thanks to non-stop media coverage throughout the NBA playoffs. And now, the Curry crew is a family of four.

Ayesha Curry announced the birth of their new baby girl, Ryan Carson Curry, in a new blog post, “Enjoying the ‘Present'” on Sunday.

She describes their daughter’s birth on July 10 by writing,”The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again Friday night! Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy!”

Ayesha went on to say that Ryan was born “a little early through a quick 3 hour labor and was a small 6lbs 1 oz.” Ayesha also wrote that she was able to give birth naturally without an epidural, which is something she claims she’s always wanted to do.

As for the NBA’s most popular kid, Riley Curry? The big sister seems to be relishing in her new role.

Her mom ends the blog by saying, “Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully. I am already so proud of her!”

Stephen Curry showed his support and appreciation for his wife through this tweet on Sunday.

Looks like he would agree that Ayesha Curry is the real MVP.
