Class of 2016 three-star wide receiver Keion Wakefield, out of Louisville’s Louisville Male High School, took to Twitter today and announced that he will make his decision at his high school on Thursday.

Per 247 Sports, Wakefield is currently weighing offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Oregon, Illinois, Cincinnati and Purdue, while many other schools have offered Wakefield a scholarship as well. At the moment, hometown Louisville appears to be in the lead.
The Cardinals would certainly be a fine destination for Wakefield, as Devante Parker heir James Quick will need some help behind him in 2016. Wakefield is much smaller than Parker at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, but has the talent to grow and develop in Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino’s system.
At the same time, Kentucky is also a good fit since head coach Mark Stoops is starting to turn the program around in the ever-competitive SEC, while Louisville is still working to keep up in the big and tough Big Ten.
Campus Sports will update Wakefield’s decision following his announcement on Thursday.
