Many college basketball enthusiasts have probably never heard of Duquesne sophomore forward TySean Powell. After seeing the video below, his name should be shared throughout households around the nation.

Duquesne is currently on a summer trip to Ireland, and Powell is seriously making a case for more playing time in the 2015-16 season. He averaged 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds over just 14.2 minutes per game last season, but also shot 58 percent from the field.
Though only 6-foot-6, 215 pounds, he has the explosiveness and tenacity of a player much bigger and is only going to improve as a college athlete.
He may play for a mid-major program in a non-power conference, not to mention a Duquesne team that hasn’t made the NCAA Tournament since 1977, but the fact of the matter is that Powell is a strong dunker who deserves more attention.
If he can keep up his improvement heading into the coming season, Duquesne could be in line for a potentially surprising season.
