The Ohio State Buckeyes will be looking for redemption when they begin their national title defense on Monday night against the Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg.
When the Buckeyes take the field, they are expected to give both J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones time under center.
In anticipation of the big game to kick off their 2015 campaign, Barrett is ensuring that his focus remains on his upcoming opponent in a very unique way.
During the latest episode of Scarlet & Gray Days, it was revealed that Barrett has a photo of Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium as his cell phone background to serve as a constant reminder of last season’s upset loss.

If Barrett is named the starter, he will be able to impact the game in a much bigger way and he can use that extra motivation to put towards a strong performance in the opener.
Ohio State and Virginia Tech will get their game underway at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
