It doesn’t look like Desmond Howard is having a great day at the office. At least, not according to social media.
But the ESPN analyst has thrown shade back at the Twitter crowd who bashed on him today following a Stanford’s loss to Northwestern.
As a refresher: Howard chose the Cardinal as this year’s national champion. So, of course, when Stanford was upset by the Wildcats 16-6 just a couple hours into the first Saturday of football, the tweeps were less than amused.

😂😂😂 RT @BuckeyesRadio: How are you feeling about your pick for Stanford to win it all now? @DesmondHoward

Howard could have chosen to ignore the jabs, or go the polar opposite route and blast every troll that came across his feed. Instead, he addressed the haters with a dash of sarcasm.
My pick for national champs, Stanford, just took pressure off of me for the rest of the season. Thanks Cardinal. #WellPlanned

Oh, and blocking the haters, apparently. But from what we’ve heard, he’s never been one to shy away from that “Block” button.
He might feel that the pressure is off, but Howard is probably going to be hearing about this for the rest of the season.
