The Florida Gators have landed a big time JUCO prospect in running back Mark Thompson. Some of the other teams who were interested in Thompson were Arizona State, Iowa and Louisville.
After hearing the news, Florida coach Jim McElwain was very excited.

Thompson, 6-foot-2, 230-pounds, played his JUCO career at Dodge City Community College (Kansas).
