With the North Dakota State Bison going for history against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, it seems as though fans have caught FCS fever.
The NCAA announced that Saturday’s FCS National Championship Game was the largest crowd ever to attend the FCS title game. An impressive crowd of over 21,000 fans gathered in Frisco, Texas to watch the game.

That’s a great achievement for the FCS, and shows that second-level college football continues to grow. With the championship game in Frisco until at least 2020, one has to wonder if organizers will try to find a way to fit more fans in the stadium each year.
After all, there is a clear interest.
