The NCAA has announced a revolutionary change regarding the process that prospects go through in terms of entering the NBA Draft.
Per tweets from the association addressing the announcement, student athletes can now enter the draft and withdraw from it much later, as the deadline for such has been pushed back to 10 days after the end of the NBA Draft Combine. Student-athletes can also enter the draft multiple times without putting their eligibility at stake and also participate in the combine as well as one NBA tryout per year.

This is good for several reasons, namely in that it gives college basketball prospects a greater window to consider their futures in case they have second thoughts. On top of that, it gives players the chance to go through the combine and get feedback so that returning to school is indeed an option, results depending.
That said, don’t be shocked if we see fewer one-and-dones now that the NCAA has amended its policy.
